What we serve at our table usually hasn’t traveled far: vegetables, meat, and herbs largely come from nearby farms and our own herb garden. Day after day, this creates a selection rooted in Bavarian and Austrian traditions, inspired by Mediterranean cuisine.
Culinary Delight Without Compromise
If you enjoy meat-free cuisine, you will find a selection of vegetarian dishes prepared mainly with regional products that are sure to delight you. We are also happy to prepare vegan dishes on request with the same level of care. For a lactose-free diet, we already provide suitable products at the breakfast buffet. And if you are mindful of carbohydrates, you can enjoy our varied low-carb cuisine that satisfies without weighing you down.

Breakfast at the Sonnengut Restaurant is served from Monday to Saturday from 7.30 am to 10.30 am, and on Sundays and public holidays until 11.00 am. Dinner is served daily from 6.00 pm to 8.30 pm; guests should arrive at the restaurant by 7.30 pm at the latest.
Hotel guests who have booked half-board will automatically have their dinner at the Sonnengut Restaurant; a separate table reservation is not usually necessary. External guests must make a booking by calling +49 85633050 or emailing info@sonnengut.de.
Yes, the Sonnengut Restaurant serves a light lunch every day from 1.30 pm to 2.30 pm for guests on a half-board basis, including on the day of arrival.
