Petra and Hans-Jörg Franzke have been passionate hosts for 32 years, dedicating themselves with heart and a personal touch. They focus on relaxation, peace and quiet, thermal water, and regional gourmet cuisine.

At Hotel Sonnengut, we treat the natural environment of Lower Bavaria with care. This is the only way to preserve it as it is. Using natural resources responsibly and embracing social responsibility are simply part of who we are. For many years, we have combined genuine hospitality with forward-looking sustainability, such as our planned connection to the district heating network in Bad Birnbach in 2028.
