Favourite tour: Birnbach–Holzkapelle–Lengham

This hike is Ms Franzke’s favourite tour.

From the school car park in Bad Birnbach, the trail leads to the Bruder Konrad Chapel and along the 14-station Way of the Cross through the forest to the wooden chapel – a well-known place of spiritual power in Lower Bavaria where St Brother Konrad once prayed. After magnificent views over Lengham, Bayerbach and Asbach, the route returns to the starting point via the Bad Birnbach biotope.
